12 Baskets

The Glen Allen Church of Christ has launched the 12 Baskets food pantry program to assist those in need in the Glen Allen community! The pantry, which opened on January 24, 2009 provides non-perishable food every Saturday between the hours of 9:00 am and 11:00 am.

We look forward to being able to reach out to, and serve the Glen Allen community in this way. The 12 Baskets program, which takes its name from the Biblical story of Jesus feeding thousands from five loaves of bread and two fish, with baskets of food left over, is our congregation’s effort to help those who are suffering from the effects of current economic conditions. We hope to reach the spiritual needs of many by filling their physical needs.
